Jocke was my mentor when I started to teach group-fitness classes, nowadays he is my inspiration in yoga. He currently teaches at Asthanga Yoga School of Tallinn in Estonia.

Yoga – Satu Tuomela

Satu Tuomela is an amazing Yoga, Pilates and Dynamics teacher, I have started learning yoga under her expert advices. You can find her at Esport Center and leading the outdoor yoga-group “YOGA GOES OUTDOORS♥“.

Group-fitness

I started group-fitness classes actively at the year 1999 with spinning (indoor-cycling) and LesMills-classes. The persons that influenced me mostly were Markus Karppinen and Jocke Salokorpi – they gave me their enormous knowledge and enthusiasm in the field of group-fitness. Without these two amazing guys I wouldn’t be doing what I love to do now!

Karate & Kobudo – Hayashi-ha Shito-ryu / Kenshinryu

Throughout my carreer at  Hayashi-ha Shito-Ryu my two masters were Hanshi Seinosuke Mitsuya (8th Dan – currently the founder for Mitsuya-Kai International) and Shihan Marco Pilato (5th Dan). Sensei Pilato brought Hayashi-ha Shito-ryu to Finland and has been my mentor and training partner for endless hours.

Hanshi Mitsuya lives in Palermo Italy and teaches international seminars all over Europe. More info at Mitsuya-Kai International. Shihan Pilato is the head instructor in Finland and teaches at Sakura-Do Karate Club.

Karate – Mabuni Shitokai

I started my karate-carreer at Mabuni Shitokai under Sensei Mario Broglin and Matti Itkonen, later on I had important influences from Kyoshi Hidetoshi Nakahashi (9th Dan).

Kyoshi Nakahashi lives in Corsica and teaches international seminars all over Europe. More info at Karate-Nakahashi. Mario Broglin was the first person to bring Shito-ryu karate to Finland and Sensei Itkonen was his first black belt student.
